Finally got a chance to fly a Boeing 737, yesterday. Wow what a hoot. Its been over 20 years since Ive been at the controls. The 800 is a cool piece of kit! There was one on the gate in Sydney and with a bit of persuasion I was able to do three take offs and landings in the left hand seat. I taxied the aircraft back to the airbridge, it was loaded up with pax and headed back to AKL. Well thats another one ticked off the bucket list. Next week Im going to drive a locomotive - watch this space.
