Finally got around to watching Man of Steel. The fanboys and purists may disagree with me but I thought it was damn good. Far superior to the one starring Brandon Routh. I found the interpretation of Kryptonian culture very interesting and it added additional flavor to the traditional cannon material. The treatment of Clarkes adolescence and his self-consciousness even to being bullied as his abilities developed gave him much more humanity. Overall I really enjoyed it and found myself connecting with the characters and suspending my natural state of disbelief for the duration of the movie. Sure some kryptonian science stuff may not have made much sense but was it supposed it to? High enough tech appears to be magical, so it didnt have to make total sense.
