Finally had a chance to visit the 9/11 Museum at Ground Zero. A very underwhelming experience. The architecture is nothing spectacular. Have seen much better museum designs before. The general exhibition hall was too packed and cramped. Too many artefacts and memorabilia crammed into a very small space made for a very frustrating experience to see it all. The crowds were maddening. However without the crowds too, am not sure it wouldve been any better. In trying to appease every one and put as many personal effects on display....its become a visual gallery and not a place of contemplation.
