Finally had some quiet time to reflect on the past week. After being told to wait wait and wait some more by our craniofacial team for 6 years we finally get a green light. 72 hrs later were in the orthodontists office setting up an appointment for 2 wks from then to get braces and palate expander. In 9 months to a year we will be headed for bone grafting and cleft closure. A whole lot to sink in and this has been one emotional mama :) no time though we are hosting the most amazing nine year old from China and this has come with its own set of wonderful emotions. Definitely felt like the stars are shinning down on us this week :)
