Finally i can tell you! I have reached the final for the Granada Reports Regional Pride of Britain Awards!! I found out as i was leaving the Summit of Kilimanjaro! This is such a big deal for me because I have worried about what people think of my desire to keep fighting. To have received this news means people took the time to nominate me which means some people must be proud of me. When your heart feels like mine does any gesture of kindness like this helps to engage you for the day ahead and push you forward. Charley is so proud of me! So is Dave! In the past few days my family (who didnt know this news) have told me they are proud of me! Its so lovely to hear it and is very much needed sometimes. I know our lovely followers and supporters will be proud Xx It is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. I hope that others see the bigger picture and help us to celebrate the news while it lasts. It might be over for me on Friday when the winner is announced. For now though i can attract awareness and together we can tell the world about childhood cancer. Thank you so much to those of you who kindly nominated me! Thank you to those of you who have supported me since Katy died. If only you really knew just what this means to me!
