Finally in the creative writing how much do i show and how much should i tell. Plus is it imperative to have variety of techniques throughout the story or just a few for example a motif. Where would most of the marks come from in creative? Thnx for your help The emphasis is on show rather than tell. Which means you should use verbs creatively and limit adjectives and adverbs. Techniques are great, dont overdo them. A motif provides a great hook to connect the story. Most of the marks come from originality, accuracy in language and sophistication of concept.
