Finally my tips for Plague trinkets , With entries from not only all over the UK but overseas ( from as far as Kuwait ) this one could throw up a complete surprise but Im going with red hot fave from the Mudcrew Ultra Team having a warm up for UTMB the amazing Sarah Morwood , last years winner Emily Cook is bound to be up there but late entry Emma Murray from St Austell Running Club will run strong on her old training ground and knows the course like the back of her hand . Look for Kate Clarke from Mudcrew Trail Runners to be pushing podium I know she has been training hard on the course and I think she will do well . For the guys the obvious choice is last years winner Richard Keefe but he has had injury problems and will be closely shadowed by Rob Mann of Salisbury AC a 2.40 marathon runner and member of the Bath Bats ultra club who specialise in night running , Loyd Purvis from AYP trail team will definately be in the mix and I reckon Craig Eley from Mudcrew Trail Runners ( North Devon possee) will be chasing a podium place . BIG QUESTION is will we have a female OVERALL winner of THE PLAGUE this year....??????? 64 miles of brutal Cornish coastpath awaits and respect for all those attempting the distance .
