Finally open source brought down Microsoft to adapt !!! With the Linux shipping more GUI products ( which are way more awesome than windows 8/8.1 ) and the whole world also moving to cloud with the products like google docs and apple keynotes etc. ( Microsoft even launched its own cloud based platform later ) ... And whereas gaming is concerned Ubuntu now supports STEAM bi*** !!! Which is a new step for linux ... I never personally believed that .NET was HOT but maybe now it will !!!! After all look what open source did to php ( you can just declare variables anywhere its like dropping variable bombs whenever you need them BAM !!!!) MySQL (there are gazillion others ) javaScript ( its interpreting engines are open source projects ) , people made it cool through collaboration and great ideas ... And when the whole world will move to cloud what would i need a microsoft windows for ??? a browser will do the thing for me then (Mozilla , Obviously ) ... Microsoft is totally shaken .. Finally they realise that in tech you gotta innovate not increment ( which I fear Apple is doing since we lost Mr Steve Jobs ) but we are talking about Microsoft here ... So a news like microsoft loves OS this feels good :)
