Finally reached Melbourne after a 7000km long odyssey across Australia and Indonesia. After cycling every inch since I joined the group in Java, I have decided to skip the next week between Melbourne and Camberra in order to go and explore Tasmania. I will of course rejoin my cycling friends in the capital city (Camberra) in order to ride the last few days leading us to the Grand finish in front of the Opera House of Sydney. Apparently Tasmania offers some terrific mountain biking trails and I am really looking forward to riding on something else than tar! But for now, it is time to enjoy all the luxuries big and modern Melbourne has on offer... Watch this space!
