Finally saw The Saratov Approach tonight. (FYI - there about 60 tickets left for tomorrows 7:20 pm show, out of 355 total seats . It will be pretty packed, Im sure. 4:05 pm still has plenty. Its their largest auditorium and it has a bigger screen than I expected. Very nice.) If you are on the fence about going, get off the fence and grab a friend too. Its hard for me to be objective about it, but I honestly feel like everyone should see this film. It was such an intense experience. I knew everything that was going to happen before it happened and it was still a harrowing ordeal. Maybe it made it worse to already know. The director hit a home run, for sure. And he did it without altering the story. Seriously, this seemed 99% true to the facts, as far I am concerned. I brought a bunch of people from work. They were deeply touched even though they knew very little about missionaries or anything going into it. Very, very moving. You dont need to be an LDS Church member to appreciate this movie. Watch this movie. Bring a friend. Bring some tissues.
