Finally saw the movie, Noah. It did what I was hoping it does for everyone: it made me go back to Genesis 6-9 to brush up on what the Bible actually says. I wasnt looking for 100% biblical accuracy. There are enough gaps in the story where artistic license must be taken to imagine what happened. I enjoy thinking about what artistic decisions Darren Aronofsky made, why he made them, and whether they complement what we know from the Bible. To me, some choices did reflect what we know about God. The majority, however, didnt. Some might take that to mean that the film should be avoided. On the contrary, I think its worth watching and discussing. Iron sharpens iron.
