Finally to the penultimate stay of our Asian holiday. For the last two days, prior to staying at an airport hotel in KL, we treated ourselves to a stay at Vivanta by Taj Resort Hotel, on the private Island of Rebak. The only thing on the island is this 34 roomed hotel, and it was sheer bliss. I think the room ranks as the second best hotel room I have ever stayed in (the best was in Vienna, where I was treated to a wonderful suite by the late Inge Panitz, when I visited the World Dog Show). There are lots of photos, so have divided them in half; heres the first batch and I shall put some captions with each to explain them. We had no idea before we booked, but they had 12 Nepali Security Guards here - all Gurkas - we felt perfectly safe ;-)
