Finally, two months after injuring my back and a good 4-5 months trying to recover from adrenal fatigue Im feeling stronger and fitter again!! I did deadlifts for 50kg and squats at 50kg in the last week (previously 100kg and 80kg). Its going to take a long time to get back to it but I couldnt do any dead lifts and only 20kg squats again initially! Im feeling pretty good and motivated today! Things that have helped: -glute rehab using resistance bands each morning to activate lazy glutes before training. (From Luke at Toughlove Personal Training) - preworkout BCAAs, vitamin c powder, protein shake and Guilt Free energy ball. -new training plan from Allen Reid Strength and Fat Loss Coach - intra-workout - BCAA and carb powder (I was a bit anxious about this a first as I was scared of eating more carbs!) - generally putting more carbs in my diet. Especially post workout ensuring I have gluten free oats, with protein and some form of topping (fruit/ guilt free nut butter or guilt free granola :) )
