Finally watched the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction show for 2014 featuring the E Street Band... Brought me back to my life living in Red Bank being a single guy... Have two Bruce stories. Number 1: Met a wonderful girl from Rumsen and we dated about a year while I lived in Red Bank. I did not know what she did until later in our relationship... She was Bruces personal assistant. I got to meet him the first time picking her up for dinner... He was very pleasant, but also acting like a dad witnessing his daughter going on date. Number 2: I lived above a bagel shop on Broad St. In Red Bank and every Saturday I would walk down the stairs and get breakfast... About once a month Bruce would be sitting with a coffee, bagel and a newspaper while I waited for my order... He would look up, knowing I was dating his personal assistant, and give me a wink and raise his coffee cup. Deep respect to Bruce Springsteen.
