Finally we’ve got a weather window to get out into the 45 East of Tiri or checkout Whangaparaoa Bay. There’s going to be some awesome workups out there. Use 80 – 100gm Inchikus in; blue, green and orange colours. Jitterbugs, Catch Freestyle Kaburas, Shimano Butterfly Jigs, Daiwa Pirate Jigs and the New Ocean Angler Filp-its will all work well while the work ups are going! Shallows, close in at change of light are still working for the Bait and Berley Fishos. Use lots of salmon berley and strayline baits like red plate pilchards and skipjack belly flaps. The Wormbeds are also worth a look drifting through using softbaits, dragging along the bottom. Also try those lumps on the contour line running along the 20m marks straight out from Gardners Gap. Make sure you get out there and enjoy this weather window and if you get any good pics over the weekend, post them below as we would love to share them for you! Fish Smarter People!
