Finance Leader – Supply Chain, India region Job GE - Pune Role Summary/Purpose: The Finance Leader- Supply Chain for India provides the overall financial leadership for the function. This role holder leads the finance function for sourcing, programs and manufacturing operations in the region. This role provides leadership in executing India SC strategy, own enterprise risk issues, facilitates cross-functional business and skill development. The role will provide financial leadership to all manufacturing sites in India and to the sourcing finance team members. Essential Responsibilities: Serve as a business Partner to the Supply Chain Leader in the formulation and execution of Supply Chain strategy in the region. This role will translate concepts, develop strategy, implement change, and create programs responsive to context of GEs operations, external environment and key strategic priorities for the region. This role will be the face of the Supply chain initiatives to internal/external stakeholders and regulators. This position will report into the CFO for GE India region and operationally to Supply Chain Leader, GE India region. Own the development, implementation and measurement of operating plans and participate in their successful execution (SI, SII, Operating Plan) for the Supply chain operations. Drive key projects for India involving MMF, Sourcing partnerships, Site Consolidation, Strategic deals etc. Provide leadership, guidance and hold the MMF finance leaders accountable on Controllership (e.g., adherence to GE policies, country specific statutory requirements, transfer of best practices, internal controls, etc.), Phase 2 expansion and so on. Provide leadership, guidance and hold accountable the sourcing finance for India (Involvement in in key accounting and commercial aspects of sourcing like Finance Health Check (FHR) process, Supplier Reconciliation, C Forms etc...) Provide business performance analytics to identify financial trends, highlight risk and opportunities and ensure operational coordination (Plant Metrics and Consolidation for all Manufacturing Plants in India) Drive financial performance improvement initiatives throughout business (cost reduction, asset management, capital efficiency, productivity, etc.) Drive simplification initiatives with support and sponsorship for shared services for the Supply Chain domain in India and work closely with several GOF streams, Tax COE and ERP implementations and execution. Direct and shape the acquisition and development of Finance talent for the Supply chain organization. Qualifications/Requirements: Masters degree in Business Administration or Finance / Chartered Accountant (or equivalent qualification) Strong industry/region specific knowledge and contacts coupled with knowledge of manufacturing, controllership, audit, accounting, simplification, treasury, and tax / legal issues Prior experience managing a multi-functional Finance organization in a leadership role Demonstrated abilities in leading and managing large teams. Strategic thinker, business acumen and strong cross functional integration skills with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans Additional Eligibility Qualifications: Desired Characteristics: Prior exposure to supply chain and manfacturing finance.
