Financial Inclusion: Generating Changes and Opportunities From November 14-16, the Business and Microfinance programs hosted 40 members from the Caja Rurales for a weekend in Panama City filled with seminars, activities, and workshops. Members of the board of directors (president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer) from each Caja Rural were in attendance in an unprecedented reunion of leaders from 10 communities from the Panama Este province and the Darien province. The most exciting part of the retreat was when each Caja shared their experiences, challenges, and successes with each other, promoting collaboration and teamwork!
