Find it funny how Patriots are quick to point out the reason for the 3-day weekend. Yes, absolutely thank a vet or honor those who have lost their lives defending our freedom. BUT, also thank Unions for giving you the 2 DAY WEEKEND! If it werent for them and the government finally telling businesses enough of the greed and allowing only 40 hour work weeks, time paid off, holiday pay and benefits we would all be working 70+ hours on a pennies like back in the 1920s. And about the VA problems, if you actually do your research you would know that it was President Bush that told Obama to keep the VA wait list on the hush because it was extremely bad when he was president, and when you add 2 more wars it becomes insanely unmanageable. And lets not forget it was the Republican Congress that just DENIED a bill that would help Veteran Funding just a few months ago. So, whose side are they really on? They are on the side of destroying Obamas presidency, and if it damages the American people than oh well! Theyll just blame him for it! So much for being a Patriot ... Wake up Americans!
