Find me faithful Lord Lord Jesus Christ, it is in Your Name that I pray… Father, how very thankful I am that Your faithfulness endures forever, that even though my journey with You is often marked by my faithlessness and unbelief, You remain faithful for You cannot deny Yourself. How great is Your faithfulness! Forgive me, I pray, for I often look away from Your greatness, lose sight of Your face and throw away my confidence in You. Strengthen me by Your Spirit so that I am able to persevere, do Your will and receive what has been promised. For I know that in just a little while Jesus is coming, and You have called me to live by faith. I do not want to be one who puts his hand to the plow and then turns back! Help me to faithfully follow hard after You and walk in the light of Your presence. May my heart be set on pilgrimage with You alone, and like Moses, may I be faithful as a servant in Your house and work as faithfully as those who built the temple, in order, to see Your purposes prevail and Jesus exalted! For You have given to me a sacred trust, the message of reconciliation through Jesus Christ, and You have required that I be found faithful. Father, You know my weakness and weariness, and the temptations of this world that pull at my heart and encourage me to wander. Strengthen me I pray! Pour out Your Holy Spirit on me this day that I might faithfully follow hard after You and become, more and more, one who is sure of what I yet hope for, and certain of what I do not yet see (pause and commit to the Lord again, those things that you are still waiting for). Do all of this I pray, that on that glorious day when I see Your face I might hear You say “well done, good and faithful servant.” In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
