((Finding My Way Back To Me)) Good Morning Beautiful Faces: For many of you who dont know this about me, my first love has always been Music. Writing songs, singing and performing. I am a classically trained vocalist., (1st Soprano) who was trained to sing Opera. But I have not sung in years. I was so busy earning a living and dealing with one crisis after another, ....(from being a survivor of stalking and domestic violence which I never spoke about publicly until now; to raising a child alone with a learning and developmental disability).... that I lost a part of me in the process. And now after almost two decades of inspiring, coaching, counseling and motivating others, I am finding my way back to me...not the author, empowerment coach, social worker, training facilitator, speaker or mother...but the fiery, passionate woman with her own hopes and dreams outside of growing my business, being a mom and leading empowerment initiatives for women. Many moons ago I sang back-up for George Morrell and in my teens was a contestant for Hall Jacksons Talented Teens and in my early twenties I was a contestant in the Ms. Black New York Pageant at the Apollo Theater. And I loved all aspects of the performing arts. I am loving life and I am re-inspired again. Im building up the courage to write and perform a one-woman mini stage play. This is on my bucket list. I am learning from a very special person that life is short and there are no do-overs in life.
