Finding myself miss Africa as I get back into my daily routine. Mainly because the little things I found myself taking advantage of... Hot water, clean water, water in general, electricity, insulation, deodorant, shoes, clothes, food... Many material things along with basic feelings or emotions as well. I cant wrap my head around my experiences there but Im most certainly thankful for everyone who made it possible for me especially God. As a child I had always dreamed of the mission field and serving in other countries. Ive always thrived to be apart of humanitarian efforts. I knew of God growing up but I cant say Ive actually had a true relationship with God until NOW. I knew years ago I wanted to serve in Africa one day. Had no clue why but for some reason knew that was the place. Four years later I finally got that opportunity. Now if you ask why Africa I wouldnt be able to stop talking about why not! I may be uncertain of many things but one thing Im certain of is that God has a purpose for everyone no matter your circumstances or day to day life. He also has a timing for everything. We just must remember that our timing isnt the same as his and his timing is our timing. Even though I cant wait to gather all of my experiences and thoughts on my trip to share them with everyone. I can only hope to encourage everyone to get more involved, appreciate the little things, appreciate life in general, and lastly KNOW God then make him KNOWN.
