Finished Kings Revival tonight and was thoroughly impressed, even - TopicsExpress

Finished Kings Revival tonight and was thoroughly impressed, even with the hurried (in my opinion) ending. What Ive always found most horrific about his books are the small details many readers may overlook. Take the scene in Cujo where the young Brett Camber, owner of the beloved rabies-ridden St. Bernard, sleepwalks into the kitchen and clutches a gravy boat to his chest while sighing, Cujo aint hungry no more, not no more. Or little doomed Randys mother in Salems Lot realizing something was wrong because of the position of the sun on the wall upon waking from her nap. Or the Torrances finding confetti in the elevator of the Overlook. King always seems to have (at least) one scene in particular that makes me shudder and in Revival it was this, in which a character reacts after being healed of an ailment by a would-be faith healer: Something, I said. Something, something, something. Happened. Happened. Something happened. Something happened, happened, something happened. Happened. Something. Great, shiver-worthy stuff. Read this book. https://youtube/watch?v=WZgwBudB-IU
