Finished reading this a few days ago, his latest, I loved it. A tale of a mans life being picked over in archaeological detail, of evil spirits, bereavement, erotic dreams, infidelity and train stations. High school friends and the descent into middle age and the strange merged existence of partially actual events and things only remembered as secrets or as fragments. Really sad and beautiful. Really honestly a great book. Its more than worth a look. A sprawling expansive psychology is living and real in the pages of this novel, a true human experience of contact and proximity. Give the Japanese master a go. Hes the best.
