Finishing 9th in back to back WSOP main events and cashing a combined $1.4 million would be a dream come true for most poker players. For Mark Newhouse however, it was a major disappointment. After beating incredible odds of 42 million to 1 in making the final table two years in a row, Newhouses aspirations ended when a bluff with pocket tens fell to the pocket queens of William Tonking. And just like that, after four months of preparation, Newhouse was sent crashing out and back to his room. Newhouses reaction to his loss was captured in a documentary titled Off the Felt, produced by All In Magazine. In it, the all in cameras follow Newhouse as he fails to hide his disappointment in a press conference and then follow him to his room at the Rio with his friends, where he continues to commiserate. Off the Felt is currently streaming in Allinmag. #poker7
