Finishing up the last load of laundry. Its ready to go in the dryer. I am not feeling good tonight. I have this icky feeling that I am coming down with something like a darn cold! Buddy seems to be doing better, thank goodness for that. Watching Lawrence Welk (the old ones) on tv. Not much else on this cable. I had a real scary thing happen to me on Friday, I believe that every female should be very aware of her surroundings. I went to the new Speedway to get gas. I ran in and used the bathroom first then came out to put gas in the car. A black man over acknowledged me on my way out, I just mumbled hello. As I was finishing up putting gas in the car (I had to use my debit card), he was parked across from me. He hollers at me asking me if I had some money he could have to put gas in his car as he was going to Lansing. In this car there were 2 black guys in the back seat and a young white girl in the front seat. They both looked at me as I was walking to my car. As I was getting into my car, the one that acknowledged me continue to ask me if he could use my charge or debit card. I just said I dont carry cash on me, and I am on a limited budget. He said I could just give me the use of my card. I closed my door and locked it immediately. Maybe this was an innocent scenario, but I didnt get a good feeling from this. I know that even had I cash on me, as I was to hand this to him, something not very good would have come out of this. So lock your doors even if youre going in to get gas, soda, anything. Dont acknowledge any stranger and dont give them money. Just get in your car, lock your doors and leave. Especially when that 6th sense strikes.
