Finland has achieved the lowest child poverty in the world through a mix of family-friendly policies that balance work and life, including one year of paid parental leave, universal childcare, government provided child support payments if one parent cant/wont pay, basic income for children under 17, and a guaranteed job for everyone under 25. Also, the Finnish government has a Childrens Parliament and Youth Council which includes 9 to 18 year old representatives. What a surprise, kids get to decide policy, and they vote not to go hungry. Share if we should learn a lesson from Finland.
