Finn is back from the vets after his surgery and in his home for the next 10 weeks. He is laying on the side the incision is on so you cant see it, and I wasnt about to move the poor thing so I could get a picture. He is handling this one a lot better than the last. It is only the second day and he is already putting weight on the leg. He seems to be in less pain, isnt trying to bother the incision, and isnt crying as long as I am in the room with him. Looks like I will be camping out in my man cave for the foreseeable future. Right now he is quietly dozing. It is so hard when you cant explain to them what is happening. It is a good thing dogs are truly the most forgiving creatures on earth. Yesterday I took him to the vet, abandoned him there, let them do all kinds of horrible painful things, and yet today when I came home his tail was going a mile a minute and he got off his bed to come greet me despite his immense pain.
