Fire From the Altar TOPIC: ENGAGING THE POWER OF THE HOLY GHOST FOR FULFILLMENT OF DESTINY. PT. 4 Todays Focus: EMPOWERMENT BY LOVE Destiny has earlier been stated to be Gods plan for a life on the earth. Jeremiah.1:5, Gal.1:14-15. Destiny is designed by God to be colourful & great for each person. Jeremiah.29:11. For destiny to be fulfilled,power is required. Luke.24:49. This power is resident in the person of the Holy Spirit. Acts.1:8. To therefore get this power,you need an encounter with the Holy Spirit to show us Gods plans for us,teach us how to achieve this plan, as well strengthening us to realize Gods plan for us. Proverb.29:18, Hebrew.12:19. Holy Spirit also helps in destiny fulfillment by restoration. Isaiah.35:32. The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Love. The Holy Spirit,been the spirit of God, impacts in us the ability to love God. Rom.5:5, 2 Tim.1:7. The love of God is what positions a man for fulfillment of destiny. You cant be a lover of God and be failing in life. WHAT THE LOVE OF GOD DOES TO MAKE DESTINY FULFILLED. 1. It makes everything to work together for good. Romans.8:28. 2. It secures a life against failure. 1 Corinthians.13:8. 3. It grants access to unlimited flow of revelation. John.15:15, Isaiah.60:1-2, Galatians.2:2. 4. It grants access to the deep things(secrets) of God. 1 Corinthians.2:9-10. All through scriptures,true lovers of God became great men. Examples include: i. David transformed from a shepherd boy to a king that is celebrated to this day,by being a man after Gods heart. ii. Apostle Peter who earlier denied Jesus became a chief advocate of Jesus,when the love of God had been kindled up in his life. Acts 4:20. iii. Paul,who became dead to himself and became alive to Jesus and became a celebrated scholar and Christian leader today. Galatians.2:20. INDICATORS OF THE LOVE OF GOD IN A LIFE. 1. Unquestionable Obedience. John.14:21-25. 2. Giving. 2 Corinthians. 8:8. 3. Love for brethren. 1 John.4:20. 4. Commitment to Kingdom service. Romans.6:24. Each one of us has a destiny of greatness. This can however not be accomplished by human strength,connection or heritage. Destiny fulfillment can only be experienced by opening up to the Holy Spirit for empowerment.
