Fire arms are a necessary good. If you believe otherwise you are a fool. Please understand that more strict gun laws will only prohibit honest law abiding citizens for owning them. The criminals already have them they arent going to stop having them. They got them through illegal means in the first place. They will continue to do so. If you are foolish enough to believe otherwise, keep your opinion to yoursdlf and go on about your life not owning guns. The rest of us will continue doing what weve always done. We will protect our selves from the people who wish us harm. For those who think that the government will protect us, and not turn against us, remember the japenese concentration camps we had here. The government will only be kept in there place if the people are sufficiently able to have an uprising againt it if they get out of hand. If we cant stand up to the government as our very founding fathers thought was necessary if the government had to much control and abused its power, how will we keep our other constitutional rights? If we let them take our rights to arm our selve againt every threat, both foreign and domestic, what makes you think they sont decide to take the freedom of speech next, or our right not to testify against ourselves? Then our right to no illegal search and seizure. There is already enough problems with the government violating these rights... this is no time to start voluntarily giving up these rights. The government is so close to just taking our rights as is. We need to work together to defend our rights.
