Fire doesnt discriminate when it comes to choosing its victims, - TopicsExpress

Fire doesnt discriminate when it comes to choosing its victims, and it is often those most vulnerable who are left devastated in its wake. South Australia is currently facing some of the worst bushfires the state has seen in over 30 years, and countless animals have perished. For the survivors — like this baby koala, rescued by a kind firefighter only metres from the fire front — their battle for survival is far from over. In the coming days and weeks, exhausted and injured animals are going to need every ounce of human kindness to help them survive. To help support the rescue and rehabilitation of animals in fire affected areas, head to: AnimalsAus.org/bdg. As the fires rage on, our thoughts and gratitude are with the brave firefighters from the SA Country Fire Service and those from other states who are joining the efforts to protect lives and homes, and for anyone who is assisting with relief efforts in any way. A heartfelt thank you. PIC: Twitter/First On Scene Media
