Fire onboard! Luckily we caught it and put it out before serious damage. Wiring harness is gone though. From my initial inspection it looks like the culprit was the metal frame that runs underneath the dash. Looks like there was a sharp corner poking right into the harness. But who knows, the whole thing is melted top to bottom. Anyway, any suggestions? Best to just buy the wire and get to work, or to buy a pre-made harness? Any idea if this one (painlessperformance/webcatalog/lv.php?sl=10127) would work on the 66 Travco? We just got towed into the RV park an hour ago, so I havent investigated too much yet, just trying to get a start. Also, I do have the original wiring diagram. Thanks!
