Firearm safety is no accident. It is achieved by conscious and deliberate adherence to fundamental safety rules each and every time you come into contact with a firearm. It doesnt matter who you are, what job title you hold, and your standing in the community. If you are not willing to exercise this modicum of responsibility, you should not possess a firearm. Doing so, makes YOU dangerous - not the firearm - regardless as to whether you are an authorized firearm carrier in a federal courthouse or a Special Response Team police officer on a high risk felony arrest attempt. Your negligence can get someone shot - including yourself - or killed.
