Fired Bobi Wine Manager Joins Radio And Weasel The Good Lyfe duo of Radio and Weasel are back in the country after successful music shows in both US and the UK, where they had been banned 10 years. This was all successful thanks to their new management of singer Chagga which launched a legal fight against the ban paving way for their shows henceforth. However, the singers seem to be yearning for more than that. They have added a new recruit to their management and guess who it is? Well, it is former Bobi Wine’s manager, Lawrence Labeja. Lawrence is seen as one of the best managers in the music industry and is credited for having seen Bobi Wine raise to the top. However, the two last week parted ways after having been together for a reasonable period of time. According to our sources, their fall out was as ignited by the recent charity concert which was spearheaded by Bobi Wine. The source revealed that Lawrence was given enough money to promote the event but the latter turned to cheaper media, which have a small audience. This in turn greatly affected the turnout of revellers at the concert, consequently making the Self declared Ghetto president a laughing stock since he had been the face of the show. In the wake of the embarrassment, the Be A Man singer finally knifed Lawrence last week but according to his statement, he didn’t rectify the reasons for axing his long time manager and friend. “This is to communicate that Mr. Labeja Laurence has been relieved of his duties as the Business manager of Fire base entertainment. Therefore All business, bookings, inquiries etc shall be conducted at our head office; Semakokilo,” he Tuesday posted on Facebook. “This reshuffle has not been influenced by any negativity or bad blood, Labeja remains a family member,a friend and a brother. We thank you for your continued support.” Chagga has been the manager of Radio and Weasel since their fallout with Jeff and Alan Kiwanuka.
