Firefighter Timothy OLeary here from The Taunton Fire Department Local 1391 located in southeast Massachusetts. On Tuesday July 29th a fellow Taunton Firefighter and close friend of mine, Firefighter Chad Larivee fell from a roof while repairing it for another brother firefighter. Chad suffered a severe neck and spinal chord injury. Chad is a 16 year veteran of the department, a married father of 3 and just an all around great guy. Our Department met to come up with a plan to raise money for his family. As you may imagine an injury this severe can be costly. One avenue we are taking is the online fundraiser gofundme.
