Firefly II excerpt: Tonight, amidst the ornamental garden galaxy the fireflies have taken flight searching for dark venues to shed their light like stars transcending into the night sky flying beyond the chaos below in silence, to where order has it’s day. leaving flowers, tired from following the sun, to rest awhile. Where solar globe lights are planets, orbiting lilies, daisies and all flowers wild, growing whimsically swaying with the changing wind in patterns of originality. The fireflies glow from branch to branch between maples, birch and poplars becoming strung strands of glittering tinsel upon the bows of highest pines. Into a realm of fulfilled dreams and aspirations transforming by night— expansive land parcels into sparkling serene scenes in the woods Defining the landscape like crowning jewels in imaginative kingdoms and other places, I haven’t yet been.
