Firing in Awatipora, 2 Civilians injured Wednesday, 28 Aug 2013 at 04:05 PM Rising Kashmir News Srinagar, August 28: Two civilians were injured when unidentified gunmen resorted to indiscriminately firing near main market Awantipora on Srinagar-Jammu national highway this afternoon. Police said, “Gunmen fired indiscriminately in Awantipora market this afternoon.”The injured persons have been identified as Farzana wife of Dr Suhail Ahmad Tari resident of Rawalpora, Srinagar and Rafeeq Ahmad Sheikh son of Mohammad Ahsan resident of Achabal, Islamabad. Police added that the lady has got injured in her thigh. Both the injured have been shifted to the hospital for treatment and are stable so far.
