First, I never do this but I cant let this go tonight! My son, my husband, and myself were to meet my daughters boyfriends family at Mountain Springs Captains Cove. We sat at a high table in the bar area. We all ordered...I ordered the Pittsburgh Steak Salad, that I have had numerous times, inside Mountains Springs (which is absolutely wonderful I might add). Well, there were 14 of us - drinks came, slowly but came. No silverware or napkins, but we were okay with that. Then the dinners came out...slowly, but came out nonetheless. After watching the meals come out by a very nice young gentleman, I informed him, I didnt get mine. He said he will check into it. So, I sat...and sat...and sat....not a soul came over. My husband and my son, tried to track someone down! Nothin! Finally, we found out, they forgot to make it, but it would be right now....there I sat...getting more furious with each passing second. Everyone was done...still no meal. So after another 15 minutes, it came out! Well, the steak was to be medium....the soles of my shoes would have been better. The lettuce...the size of a small dinner plate. The shoestring fries...wet. Not very appetizing. You know what is even more infuriating then the meal...when you ask to speak to a manager, and not one person comes out to deal with the situation! I want to know what kind of people do they hire for management? How can your servers/waitresses/waiters do a good job, when they have no managers? Can you believe he sent a young girl to come out and talk to us? Well, I felt bad for her and the waiter...but I refused to pay that bill! Cmon Captains Cove....you have a great relaxing atmosphere there, perhaps you should have management on staff that treats the patrons, like they are important...cause I felt anything but relaxed tonight!
