First, I want to say that when I was at the CDA Street Fair on Sherman today, I didnt see as many dogs as I expected. YAH!!! However, we did see two and both dogs were is a bit of distress over trying to please and stay at the sides of their humans, even those they were struggling to walk on the hot pavement. I mentioned to one young lady to look at how her dog was raising his paws off the ground when she stopped... and how he shifted from holding one foot up to the other. She was mortified and immediately took her dog home. Education is the best weapon against uninformed humans. If you can comfortably take off your flip flops.. lay your foot straight on the pavement that YOUR DOG is standing on for at least 10 seconds, then your dog may be okay. If you cannot comfortably leave your foot down.. PLEASE DONT EXPECT YOUR DOG TO BE ABLE TO STAND IT EITHER. (climbing down off my soap box)... sending love your way. Pam
