First I want to thank my best friend Toni for bringing her camera and taking pictures throughout the night. We got to the ballpark around 1:30 or so to cook for a party that was going to be on the deck from 4:00-6;00. Toni Anderson-mesecar, Stormy Johnson and I started cooking and getting things ready on the party deck, John Jackson was helping us out and had the grills going on the concourse. Then the rain, thunder, and lightening started got everything packed up on the deck and made a run for it. Got to the concourse and then the bottom fell out..Jeff Jackson said well Caitlyn made sure I made it inside the park before it started. Those that live locally or came to the candle light vigil and Caitlyns Celebration of Life may remember the storms and rain on those days. So we cook and laugh about everything that was going on, the before game party was postponed. But in true Caity fashion about 5oclock the sun came out and the rain was gone. It was time to get this party going. We were hanging out with our fellow Bomber friends, when I was told to go into one of the concession stands and to not come out. Then I was blindfolded and brought out of the stand to where I saw the most amazing, beautiful gift from Emily Mesecar she painted and decorated a chair for Caitlyn it is beyond beautiful, and yes the tears were falling from everyone. Jeff and I went on the field to watch 4 kids from the hem/onc clinic throw out a 1st pitch. Then a big surprise, we knew about it, was the 1st annual Caitlyn Jackson Spirit Award was given to a most deserving girl, Michelle Dulyea who works in Stand 3. Before the national anthem they held a moment of silence in Caitlyns memory...to top of the night the Bombers in their Caitlyn Crusader Jerseys won 15-1, we think they might need to change their colors from red and white to orange and blue :-) It was a most amazing night at the ballpark and we all knew Caitlyn was there we all felt her presence
