First, Imran called for #civil #disobedience by withholding taxes in an economy where these are deducted at source and where even the most ardent of his fans were reluctant to have their electricity, gas and water connections cut due to nonpayment. Now, he has challenged #PMLN on its own turf - gangsterism. Shutting down cities is possible when you have thugs down the line like PMLN, MQM and JI, not just at the top like PTI has. Failure of plan C - which was put on hold initially to accommodate a banned terrorist gang - became evident when PMLN outgunned PTI in Faisalabad on 8th December.
