First Love, First Heartbreak This has got to be the worst feeling in the world. When you feel you are breathing but not breathing at the same time and your heart beats so fast and at the same time feels like it is literally breaking into two. Einstein once said that How on earth are you ever going to explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love? I have heard of some extreme forms of heartbreak stories some of which I would like to share here. This beautiful feeling of first love has been destroyed in front of my own eyes as I watched the girl in one of my favorite couples make plans to marry her boyfriend. She was dating her high school boyfriend for the past five years and anxiously waiting for him to get back at her after talking to his parents. I heard plans from her mouth about hiring a wedding event planner way before anything was official. It just showed me how deeply devoted she was to her guy and what a great feeling it was to be in love in such a pure way. A few weeks later though she found out that her boyfriend were backing out of the commitment because his parents wouldnt approve. She couldnt believe that years of devotion, passion and love could just be taken away because he did not get approval. The weeks that followed of her almost being physically unable to face the world out of her own grief were heart breaking and showed me what it really felt like to get your heartbroken after a true love story was dying down. A remarkable and very positive experience it is to fall in love truly for the first time. However, just with other beautiful things in life, we can just hope that the goodness of it lasts forever without it ever ending. Because no love story that isnt eternal ends without heartbreak and a first heartbreak is probably as much of a crazy biological phenomenon as first love although in an extremely negative way. As much as I have seen people celebrate first love with a different zing in their life be it happy moods, a love for living, a cheerful attitude towards life, I have also seen the extreme opposite at heartbreak be it a withdrawal from daily activities or just a simple desire not to live anymore.
