First, NYPD union leader Patrick Lynch said Eric Garners death is a tragedy for this police officer who has to live with that death. You know - the officer who used an illegal chokehold thats been banned for 20 years because it leads to DEATH?? Then, Lynch directly blames the mayor and protesters for the death of a police officer at the hands of a violent criminal with a long rap sheet, who earlier in the day had also shot his girlfriend. Yeah, I can TOTALLY see how thats the mayors personal fault. And then today, the police union orchestrated that awful protest involving a plane pulling a banner over the city that said DeBlasio, our backs have turned to you, and thousands of officers disrespecting the slain officers family by turning their backs on the mayor, who was invited by the slain officers family to speak. I blame Patrick Lynch for purposefully trying to ignite a war between cops and citizens. He is succeeding.
