First Responders Appreciation Event – November 1, 2013 Everyday throughout our area men and woman are responding to the call for help. Police officers, EMTs, Firefighters, Ski Patrol, and members of the Coast Guard don’t get holidays off, answer their page night and day, and see some of the most horrendous things in their line of work. On November 1, 2013 they will be honored with an appreciation event at the Steak Pit in Washburn. The event will be take place from 6-8 pm with Hors D Oeuvres and brief presentations from Representative Janet Bewley, Mayor Scott Griffiths, and Mayor Larry MacDonald. First Responders in Bayfield County and from Madeline Island are invited to join us as we celebrate YOU!
