First SREC meeting report: I walked in the door from the funeral up here literally as it was being called to order, but thanks to Amy Shevokas Hedtke and my proxy Dav Wyl I was able to watch most of what happened via a livestream. 1) They adopted the same bylaws they were previously using with no amendments offered, after a statement from the Chair that they dont usually amend at the first meeting. The no recording by guests rule is not in the bylaws, it was a standing rule previously adopted, and they did not take that up at this time. 2) They elected Rena Peden Secretary, she was the only nominee. 3) The Chair gave a report about the conventions finances. If Dav has or anyone else actually in the room has any corrections, I welcome you to post them in the comments here.
