First, an update on our precious dog Jack: No more seizures; hell - TopicsExpress

First, an update on our precious dog Jack: No more seizures; hell likely be on phenobarbitol forever, and we are praying that whatever caused the seizures in the first place doesnt rear its ugly head again. Along with the medication though has come lethargy and severe clumsiness--you can actually tell by the way hes laying in this photo. But at least he is resting, which he wasnt able to do for 48 hours, and he appears to understand where he is and who we all are. Doctor says these symptoms should very much decrease over the next couple of weeks. This is all such a relief to Jim and me! For several weeks now Ive been putting together the new tablecloth for next years farmers markets (keepin it fresh!) which I constructed out of coffee bean bags and an old bow tie quilt topper. My question for Brenda Nicholson and Carole Peyton Barger and any other seamstresses out there is this: my machine maxed out with all of these layers of burlap, and I dont think I can go back and do a zigzag over the raw edges which attach the top to the ruffles because I dont have an industrial sewing machine, which this would require. Can you think of an alternate way I can keep this part from unraveling? Is there some sort of a fray-check spray that I could use? Thanks, ladies!
