First and foremost an individual is allowed to deny consent to a search but more often then not those rights are violated. I dont know exactly the situation is but you can obviously see the kid (not man) is not resisting until the one cop starts searching around his crotch region which the kid does not like and without touching the cop does not allow it. The cop then sees it within his right to tackle the kid into the store gate. Then all the rest of the cops follow and the kid is being hit before being tackled down to the ground. Then you have 4 cops on top of him, who must have no real strength or proper training because they cant even cuff him. So a couple start punching him in the face, another takes his steel baton to his body and legs while another kneels on his face. And that is exactly what happened. This video will not allow any dummy to dispute the obvious facts. Unfortunately the likelihood of any REAL disciplinary actions being taken are highly unlikely. I dont promote violence but why shouldnt we be able to fight back in wrongful situations like this and place those officers under citizens arrest? If the governing bodies wont make things right who will? The NYPD is important and it is dangerous in a lot of places here so they have to have a certain toughness, but when is it going to far?
