First and foremost is the importance of your dogs health, happiness,and safety:thats what Im here for. Lagniappe Haven Dog Care is an alternative to the standard boarding facilities within our area. It may appear crazy and chaotic when you first pull into the drive here but remember, NONE of the dogs are crated until bedtime or if I should leave for any length of time! You will always be greeted from the fence by dogs running, barking, jumping and growling at you. Theyre happy, they get to run in a large yard supervised by me and they get to play with each other. With that being said, please keep in mind when you do arrive, do not go up to the fence. When you do it starts a frantic happiness in one dog and another may interpret it as something else. This can cause a pack issue. Please just come to the door. I know that everyone wants to pet the dogs and if youre dropping off your dog(s), you want them to sniff each other, but please remember that the well-being and safety of all the dogs here comes first! Everyone wants to pet the dogs and greet the new comers, in due time they all get the chance to meet and greet each other and get loving. :) We are designed, currently, for larger breed dogs so that they dont have to spend their days cooped up in kennels or runs where theyre only allowed out when the staff has time or on scheduled times. We will be adding a space for smaller dogs to play and run but at this time were not taking any dogs under 10#. LHDC is a private ran pet care that allows more human time spent with your dog(s) as well as games and activities for your pet to participate in. Its like a skin kid daycare designed for the furry kids :) Our back yard in over an acre fenced in with 2 kiddie pools and several water pails all around the yard. We have a barn where the dogs sleep at night that is air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter. All crates are cleaned between pets and bedding is provided. Some dogs will be allowed in the home based on behavior and some will be allowed on a rotational basis. Feeding schedules are to the owners choosing. Fees are $16/1 dog, $22/2 dogs and $30/3 or more dogs (from the same family). Baths are a flat price $25/dog. Drop off is anytime of the day/night but check out is before 6pm. If your pet is one medication there is a $2 dispersal fee for the stay. In time we will be offering a military discount as well as a referral program. If youre thinking of going out of town for the holidays or for the summer make sure to schedule your dog(s) care as soon as possible to insure theres space available because as of right now weve only got 12 spots available.
