First and foremost, there was a lot of Pocky this year. Especially the Strawberry ones and the whole con itself was pretty pink with lots of Lolita Fashion. Now, I must say that things have been rather fun this year. Meeting old friends and venturing off to some unknown parts of the hotel to get some booze and such. I have met a lot of interesting people and made many great friends as well. I do have to thank Jeff for letting me bunk at his room on Friday and The Phil along with his friend Jay for letting me crash on Saturday. As far as the event went, I didnt really do any photo shoots like most of my other friends were off doing. And the parties I crashed got interesting and getting to know a lot of people helps getting leads to some fun parties. What happened there after is something people would rather not talk about. Other than that, I think I pissed off a few people, let alone have had a small case of drama. Then again, who doesnt have one of those from time to time. I was also rather disappointed on the shots I have taken during the fashion show. Most came out okay, but it wasnt really satisfactory. I know that I am still learning as far as being a photographer goes. Sometimes I get some nice shots, sometimes I dont. Even though I dont have the best of equipment, I realized that I would need a lot more batteries for the flash than I though. Lighting was and is really crucial. Not to mention the fact that someone with a huge flash blocked my shot during the action show. Good thing is that I managed to get some shots during the practice run, so you wouldnt see all the little heads on the bottom. That doesnt change the fact that I do have to do a lot of color correction. I mean, a lot. It was good to see a lot of the models though. Most of the Dolldelight models were recognizable. My friend wasnt able to get a spot on the runway, but I do hope that she did enjoy it. I am a bit iffy if my other friend who runs Fairytale Boutique would be happy with the shots as well. However, all the outfits and dresses were just marvelous. I should maybe bat my hands and giggle every time I say that. Anyways, the rest of the con were filled with social interactions. Most of them during night along with some dancing and just having a merry time. More importantly, I met good friends again, but I should probably draw more in the future and actually sit behind a table selling pretty pictures. Things that are drawn mostly. I may also have to set a photo shoot schedule for ALA. Now for a tagfest of people I met and all that jazz. *dances* Oh, I will have the pics uploaded soon. I do have to retouch up on a lot of them, so please be patient.
