First and foremost we would like to THANK EVERY SINGLE SOO DO THAI - TopicsExpress

First and foremost we would like to THANK EVERY SINGLE SOO DO THAI SUPPORTER THAT SHOWED UP LAST NIGHT!!! We had so much love and support from friends, family, and students that it simply blew us away! You have no idea how much that means to each and every fighter, and to the staff as a whole. Next, SOO DO THAI IS UNSTOPPABLE!!! We had 8 fighters step into the cage last night, and we won 7 out of those 8 fights, retaining one of our titles and winning another one!!! We went undefeated in boxing last night, as both Quaron and Orondi put on MAGNIFICENT performances last night, with Orondi winning the boxing fight of the night honors. 6 MMA fighters stepped into the cage last night and showed just how versatile our academy is! Johnnie Andrews returned after a long hiatus and won his fight by Rear Naked Choke in Round 1. Anthony Jones showed perseverance and depth by eating a big shot early on in round 1, but was able to regain his senses and earn his second ground and pound stoppage and improve his record to 2-0 in Round 2! The old Stungun showed up in the cage last night, as Dale Stamper looked sharper and better than ever in his dominating performance and Ground and Pound stoppage in Round 1....he is looking like his old self again! The title fights were up next, and we cleaned up there also! Although Zeal came up short in his title fight against a TOUGH and seasoned opponent, he provided the crowd with plenty to cheer for with some EXCITING Judo throws!!! Jake Mehtric vacated his 170lb title as he was DETERMINED to drop weight....and he did just that. He dropped 20 pounds in 20 days to fight for the 155lb title, and he won it by decision after five hard fought rounds. Pancho Theuer was the main event, as he was defending his 145lb title against a GAME opponent who is the veteran of 27 fights! Pancho, although going in with far less experience than his opponent, made short work of him by finishing the fight with an armbar finish in only one minute and fourteen seconds of round one, successfully defending his title, and finishing his amateur career off with a bang! The play by play by no means can recreate the excitement that took place last night! We are proud of our academy and you should be too! We finished the 2014 season off with a bang, and we proved that hard work and dedication TRULY pays off! We are excited for what 2015 has in store! Soo Do Thai!!!
