First basketball hoops, now my driving to Price Chopper. This - TopicsExpress

First basketball hoops, now my driving to Price Chopper. This council is making us the laughing stock of NYS. I dont hear one single solution coming from this group for growing our economy, addressing public safety issues, or taking care of blight. All we get is golf course, power grabs, anonymous tips and nonsense. As Mayor, I am on call 24/7. I run around all over Amsterdam, its surrounding communities, the Capital District and the State. I use the car both personally and professionally as it is part of the compensation every mayor receives upon swearing in. Also, the Recorder doesnt mention the $1,500 in receipts I have on my desk from 2010 - 2013 (I have 2008 -2009 somewhere here at home - will have to root them out) for my private investment in the car (mats, windshield wipers, car washes and gas.) I have religiously kept these receipts for all of this time because I felt it my obligation to offset the cost of the car because I do use it off of business hours. They also did not mention the fact that, when I went to show the reporter my most recent purchases over the past six months, the receipts had magically disappeared out of my glove compartment. I had a very experienced and wealthy developer tease me yesterday about basketball hoops. I cant wait until he sees this one.
